I received my LSAT score in my e-mail box yesterday at approximately 9 a.m. It took a lot of coaxing from my fiance and about an hour to open the dang thing. But, I opened it.
I improved a wonderful 6 points from the last time I took it, which I’m so proud of myself for! I jumped a whopping 20 percentile points and got exactly 10 more questions right this time than I did in September. It’s not a “blow-your-mind” kind of score by any means, but I’m incredibly happy with what I saw, and I’m sure this will open a few more law school doors for me now. Incredibly, the curve looks like it was -13/-14 which is the softest curve to date! That also means that many more people took the LSAT and did pretty poorly for the curve to be that high. Crazy.
Now, I’m working on getting about 15-20 applications sent out (yes, I know that’s a lot, but I really want to cast a wide net and about a quarter of them are free to apply to.) I applied to 5 last night, and I hope to apply to 5 or 6 more tonight and so on.
I’m all the more excited now for my wedding and law school. It’s going to be a wonderful year.
